The Immune Deficiency Foundation was founded in 1980 by the mother of a newly diagnosed—and chronically ill—child searching for answers to her questions about primary immunodeficiency (PI). Today, the foundation is the leading source of information for persons looking for their own answers to questions about PI. Whether you’ve been recently diagnosed, you’ve been living with PI for years, or you think you may have PI, we are here to help. IDF offers programs designed to engage, connect, and empower families to live longer, stronger, and healthier lives. For more information on IDF and all we do for people living with primary immunodeficiencies, visit https://primaryimmune.org.

IDF Friends is a private online community created to provide the PI community with the best and latest resources for support. The discussion forums on IDF Friends are completely private—only registered members can access them—and provide a secure place for the community to support one another. IDF Friends can help you connect with others in similar situations, share stories, ask questions, get support, and more.

IDF Friends is now the new home for Get Connected Groups, bringing together even more opportunities for the PI community to connect and find support.
