To treat or not to treat

I was recently diagnosed with CVID, IGg of 315.  All subclasses below normal, but my Ig3 is in the normal range.  This came as quite a suprise to me.  I had ITP 12 years ago, chronic for three years, but have been in remisission for nine years.  I have never had a major infection and never had GI problems.  I have only had to take antibiotics once in 12 years.  I do suffer from fatigue and odd symptoms.  I had shingles last year and get herpes sores in my nose when I get sinus issues.  I travel for my job at least twice a month, sometimes internationally.  The immunologist thinks I have had CVID for many years due to the ITP.  Because of my lack of infections, he does not think I should treat at this time.  I consulted with another immunologist and she thinks I should treat (especially since I do not have a spleen).  I had high dose IVIg when I had my ITP and did not have any problems.  I feel I was over-treated with my ITP and made many decisions out of fear.  I have read some posts where it says you should treat the patient and not the numbers.  In the past year there have been a number of times where I just don't feel well and get the chills and flu-like symptoms.  I am wondering if the IVIg might help this and also help with the fatigue.  I have done very well for many years, but am fearful that I could get very sick, very fast when I am out of town.  But I have also read some posts about issues people have with the monthly IVIg and that they feel worse.  Are there people out there who don't treat?  Any input is greatly appreciated.
