When I was at my immunologist's I remembered to ask a question I'd forgotten to ask at first visit. Do I need to get a shingles vaccine?

Her response was at first that it could be given but then she added--you don't make antibodies to pneumonia vaccine so you probably would not make antibodies to that either.

Anybody here not making antibodies for pneumonia vaccine but still get shingles vaccine? My gut is that what she is telling me is probably true.
