I posted a few days ago about thumb/hand problems I have been experiencing and I saw a hand specialist yesterday and he did x-ray and

confirmed that my thumb joint has deteriorated to the point that it needs to be surgically repaired so I'm having that done and probably won't

be able to type/post for a while after that.  Please keep me in your prayers for a good surgical outcome and to come through it w/o infection or

complications.   The surgeon tells me that after recovery and PT rehab of the hand I should have full use of it in 3-4 months post surgery.
