Has anyone been diagnosed with autoimmune inner ear disease (AIED) or Meniere's disease?  If autoimmune, was it isolated inner ear disease, or a manifestation of another autoimmune condition, such as lupus or Sjogren's?  What symptoms did you have?  Did they include a sudden hearing loss or a gradual hearing loss? 

I was told today that I probably have Meniere's, but my symptoms and history don't seem consistent with that.  I'm finding it hard to believe that I have yet another condition, unrelated to PIDD, unrelated to my other inner ear issue, and unrelated to Sjogren's.  Of course, the provider I consulted didn't seem to consider zebra-dom.  Meniere's is more common in the general population than some other things I think might be a more likely explanation, but far less common in those with any of the other 3 conditions I have.  What I have going on does not appear to be the result of an ear infection.
