In reading through the forum I've seen a lot of discussion about sub q delivery of meds.  I am so new to this that I didn't even know there was a sub q option.  What are the advantages and disadvantages of sub q?  Why do the docs start you on IV versus sub q? Basically, any info you all can give this neophyte would be helpful.
