My son, 16 years old, received his IVIG this morning.  When I took him to school I walked in with him when he gave the secretary a note explaining his lateness.  She asked him and I if we had a doctor's note.  I explained to her that the home health nurse had been at our house since 6:30am this morning and if I would have thought about it, I would have had the nurse write a note, but I did not.  The diagnoses letter is in the school nurse's office!  Our home health nurse had to fax a note to the school explaining about my son's lateness.  I am just so frustrated...
