Overall, my visit went as expected. Dr. Hagaman, Medical Director saw me because of the diagnosis of CVID. He is not pleased that the Immunologist here in Crossville did not do a titer challenge before my diagnosis. He also thinks I have Interstitial Lung Disease and is referring me to a Pulmonologist at Vanderbilt. A chest xray and lung function test has led him to believe I do not have COPD - but a more serious disease. He would like the new Pulmonologist to do a Brochoscopy and biopsy my lungs and gather cells for testing. Furthermore, he wants my PCP to schedule a biopsy of my lymph nodes, so I will talk with her on Tuesday regarding this new issue. Lymph nodes still swollen, no soreness or fever. I have listed the persons I have seen for your info. only. Keep me in your prayers. I think I am in for a long journey. Love, thoughts, hugs, and prayers, Carol
