IVIG GammaGuard Liquid

Hello:

I'm not sure how other people's experiences have been with this, but I wanted to share mine:

I've had about 6 IVIG infusions now using the GammaGuard Liquid.  My most recent infusion was yesterday.  It was probably the best infusion I've had to date.  I did somethings a little bit differently this time.

1.  I hydrated the previous 2 days in advance, drinking as much water as I could.  This helped make it easier when they stuck an IV in my arm, and it was much more comfortable, (no-pain).

2.  I get 25 Grams every 4 weeks I guess.  (Though sometimes I'm going every 8 weeks).  My top infusion rate is 180 mL per hour, which keeps me from getting any headaches, or back aches, or any other pain.

3.  Stay hydrated afterwards.

These things assisted me in having a pain free and seemless infusion.  Perhaps this will help others?  I was thinking of getting SubQ, but if every infusion goes as easily as this last one, then I would rather just deal with it once every month instead of once a week with SubQ.

I'd be interested to hear other member's experiences with GammaGuard, and what's worked well for you as well.  (Especially if you hate needles like I do)
