Alabama IDF Friends will provide information and support to patients within the state of Alabama. The belief is that we are stronger together than we are apart, and that is true PID -patients, as well. We are currently in the process of planning an IDF conference to be held in Birmingham in the month of September, 2010. Following that conference, we will kick off the North Alabama IDF Chapter, where we will meet monthly to learn from speakers, exchange ideas, support each other, and have personal connections will fellow patients in our area.

Following the establishment of the North Alabama support group, we are planning a run/walk called "Strides for Stripes" to help raise awareness and money for the continuing work of IDF.

This is an actvive, dynamic group, where you will find people in Alabama who understand, empathize, and celebrate the joys in living with PID.
